USCIS Increases Premium Processing Fee
11/11/2019
Starting on November 29th, 2019, USCIS will raise their premium processing fee from $1,410 to $1,440 for Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker and Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. The price increase comes in light of the full amount of inflation from June 2001 through August 2019 based on the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers.
Premium processing is an optional service that allows petitioners to request 15-day processing of their I-129 and I-140 petitions for an extra fee. It is paid in addition to the base filing fee and any other applicable fees.
